Recreational Casting
I cannot deny a genuine curiosity in what I have come to understand as “recreational casting”. Beyond the sexual and fetishized side of its existence, the visual and process-oriented aspects of it become more interesting. Can prescribed immobility and a heavily involved process bring about pleasure and beauty? Sometimes the most beautiful results can come about when we take things to a level unvisited.
